1

Invite Sentri to your server

You'll need the MANAGE_SERVER permission in order to invite a bot. If you don't have this, ask someone higher up in the server to invite Sentri on your behalf.

2

Move Sentri's role

When you invite Sentri to your server, it'll automatically create a role aptly named "Sentri". You need to move this role as high as you'd like Sentri to interact with hierarchically. This means placing Sentri's role ABOVE the highest role you'd like Sentri to be able to take action on, and BELOW any roles which you don't want Sentri to take any caustic actions on (kicks, bans, etc).

3

Tell Sentri who your admins are

Use !set roles addadminrole to mark "administrative" roles as admin. This will give your admins access to the appropriate permission tier of Sentri commands.

4

Tell Sentri who your mods are

Use !set roles addmodrole to mark "moderator" roles as mods. This will give them access to the commands they need to do said moderating through Sentri.

5

Set a mod actions channel

The minimum amount of logging required, this is where Sentri will send bans, kicks, warnings, and related punishments. Use !modlogset modlog #channel to set it.

6

You're ready to go!

Sentri's got everything it needs to function at it's core, and you can start customizing it's different features to suit your server's needs as you'd like.
